Discover The Social Evangelism Project
The Social Evangelism Project is dedicated to helping churches transform their social media from a promotional tool into a platform for meaningful evangelism. By centering discipleship in online messaging, we empower congregations to extend their reach, equipping followers to live out their faith in everyday life.
As a Lutheran pastor with a Master of Divinity and years of experience in the nonprofit sector, I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to communicate foundational beliefs effectively. Prior to ministry, I worked in donor engagement for museums and gardens, and I’m continually inspired by how churches can benefit from the outreach techniques commonly used in these fields.
Currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry with a focus on the theology of art, I’m exploring how visuals influence our understanding of God—a valuable insight for the church as it engages nearly 5 billion social media users daily.
Together, we can harness the power of social media to create discipleship-focused communities. Let’s make the most of these accessible tools to share the Gospel in new, impactful ways.
